Canada’s largest disaster restoration conference and expo in Toronto features informative sessions and workshops, keynote speakers, and lots of opportunities for networking. One of the goals was to have a logo that reflects the excitement of restoration professionals coming together once a year to mingle, partake in training, and to grow. So the brand had to have punch, incorporate vivid colours, and portray movement. The PLR team of partners were happy with the result.
The logo uses grey colouring that represents the technological aspect of the Expo. The blue stands for flood restoration, the green for environmental remediation, and red for fire damage restoration.
The website has a focus on showcasing keynote speakers and heavy advertising for sponsors. The site also uses an abundance of videos and social media to further connect with attendees and exhibitors. Having a responsive mobile-friendly website was key as attendees used the Agenda and the corresponding Event Base app throughout the Expo.
Capture was also responsible for the complete signage and branding thoughout the event including registration booths, hall signage, name badges, power points, sponsor boards, and tote bags.
